Applications: MOLOIL® MCT is primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry as a solubilizing agent to enhance the bioavailability of lipophilic drugs. It also serves as a carrier in various drug delivery systems, including emulsions and nanoparticles. It is used as a liquid vehicle or diluent inside soft gelatin capsules. It also functions as a hydrophobic base, emollient, and consistency-adjuster in suppositories, topical creams, ointments, and sprays.
