1 Appearance It occurs as white to yellow powder of uniform consistency and texture. It may have a hard, waxy consistency.
2 Melting range 85 ° to 88°.
3 Free fatty acids Not more than 1ml of 0.1 M sodium hydroxide is required.
4 Heavy Metals Not more than 20ppm.
5 Acetyl Value Not less than 143.
6 Acid value Not more than 2.0.
7 Hydroxyl value 154 to 162.
8 Iodine value Not more than 5.0.
9 Peroxide value Not more than 5.0.
10 Saponification Value 176 to 182.

PACKAGING

MOLOIL® HCST is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded Label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 2 years. It is preserved in tight containers.
